Dr. Boardman is a third generation veterinarian who grew up in New York State. He received his B.S. at St. Lawrence University in New York. He then went on to attend Cornell University where he received his D.V.M. in 1979. He spent the next three years working at a mixed animal practice in northwestern Connecticut before buying the Brattleboro Veterinary Clinic from Dr. Albert Grass in 1982. He has a special interest in general and orthopedic surgery as well as in radiography. He and his wife Susan have raised four sons in Brattleboro. In his spare time he enjoys kayaking, hiking, camping, skiing, reading and playing the guitar.
